Ruby Bridges is a little girl that went to school that was only for white children. they yelled at Ruby and the parents took their children out of school. She was alone with her teacher Mrs. Henry. Ruby loved Mrs. Henry and was taught alone.
She kept going to go school and never missed a day. She also worked hard. Next year, when ruby started second grade she walked to her new class the room was full of white and African-American children. She only cared about learning and not about the Americans yelling at her. Because of Ruby Bridges now the schools are integrated because of brave Ruby. Mrs. Henry was ruby's teacher when she was first grade.
It inspire me because when was a little girl she wasn't allowed go to school but she went to school anyway. she said no I want to go to school and wanted to learn new things. She was brave because all American people didn't like African-American people but she had the courage to break the rules and keep going to school. I learn that I could be brave myself and fight for freedom.
